Here Mike put together the most important stages in our development, information about the sound engineers that have been as important as any other member of the band, the highlights in our career (TV shows, gigs abroad) and more:
March 1988: Founding of a cover band, rehearsing in a pub, with
Volker Fischer on bass,
Stefan Maas on drums and
Michael Zimmer on guitar/vocals.
July 1988: Michael Griese joins the band and we agree to call ourselves SYNCHRONICITY. We find a rehearsal room/recording studio in Dortmund-Höchsten.
August 1988: First gig as a four-piece at a wedding party
September 1988: Only public appearance as a four-piece, playing at the Unna town festival
November 1988: His job requires Volker Fischer to leave the band, so now it´s

Michael Zimmer - guitar
March 1989: First gig as a three-piece at the EGB Unna
February 1990: First gig with Carsten Wilhelmi engineering and mixing
October 1990: The band´s name is changed into REGGATTA DE BLANC
November 1990: On account of his job Carsten Wilhelmi has to leave the band
May 1991: First gig with the incomparably brilliant, immeasurably cute and thoroughly wonderful Dietmar Clös as sound engineer
November 1992: Gig at the Sting Festival in Arnhem (NL)
December 1992: Reggatta appear as Police in the last Rudi Carrell Show on German TV
April 1995: Last concert with Stefan Maas on drums, who has to leave the band for job reasons
May 1995: First gig with Roland Manns on drums in Lütgendortmund
March 1996: First show with Dietmar Clös and Gerald Manns mixing and engineering
May 1996: Last gig with Dietmar Clös before he leaves the band (Why? Job. I´m sure you guessed as much.)
December 1996: Last show with engineer Gerald Manns
April 1997: First concert with engineer Christoph Helle
July 1997: First gig with Ralf Hinz engineering
December 1999: Reggatta appear as Police on German TV show "Laß Dich überraschen" with Thomas Ohrner
May 2002: Ralf Hinz leaves the band to move to Sweden
June 2002: First gig with engineer Christopher Hafer
September 2002: For the first time, Reggatta plays five Sting songs in front of an audience
